Bipolare adhesive electrode (IOM)

This bipolar (two-pole) surface adhesive electrode is excellent for picking up myoelectrical muscle fibre signals.  The electrode consists of one point electrode and one annular electrode, which are incorporated into a self-adhesive pad.

The CoDe (concentric detection) electrode allows detection of myoelectrical surface signals.  
The system structure - one point electrode and one annular electrode - deals with the problem of orientation of classic bipolar recordings.
Furthermore, the transfer function of the system achieves the approximate output of a double differential filter, even though the signal is recorded with ordinary bipolar amplifiers. It thus allows better spatial selectivity as well as better reduction of superimpositions in connection with the bipolar system.
The system is a disposable system and is available in different sizes, depending on the special application.
The detection side consists of AgCI and the system is supplied with a standard connection, which also allows the connection of various types of connection depending on the purpose.
