The AC Pressure Airflow Sensor is designed to detect respiratory airflow and/or snoring for recording by a polygraph EEG or similar type of physiological recorders. The airflow detection is done with a piezo sensor that is attached to the patient by a nasal cannula. The airflow sense through the nose provides not a nasal airflow signal and a snore signal. The snore signal is based on the oscillation sensed by the respiration of the flow. This system plugs directly into the recorder and does not require any auxiliary power source. In order to get a separated oral signal, we recommend our Oral Flow Sensor.
